With almost a decade of experience in real estate sales, Dawn, along with fellow Domus agent Ernie Buote, purchased the company from founders Gail Morris and Sandy Rutledge. Dawn has a long-term vision for Domus which includes maintaining the reputation for excellent service and community involvement we are known for, while keeping up with modern trends and assuring the company stays relevant for years to come.
We consider home to be a safe place where a person can return every night. Home is community, connectedness, and family. Through our community initiative, "A Home for Everyone", we intend to show our support to end homelessness in HRM. Application Form Here.

Each year we invite local organizations which are working to assist the homeless in our community to apply for funding from our A Home for Everyone initiative. The money in the fund comes directly from our sales agents who contribute a set amount from their commissions. After carefully reviewing all applications, a volunteer panel made up of community members decides who will receive the funds each year. This year we were pleased to give to the Salvation Army, Shelter Nova Scotia, and The Hospice Society of Greater Halifax. Below are some photos from the cheque presentation.
