This summer we were pleased to present 3 cheques for $5000, one to each of the following organziations: HomeBridge Youth Society, Adsum House, and Welcome Housing & Support Services. Each group received funding to assist with projects they operate to help the city's homeless. We are so thankful for all the work they do! Domus Realty was a proud sponsor of Rugby Canada's Provincial Union of Year award which was given out this past week at the Rugby Canada Annual Awards & Hall of Fame Induction banquet in British Columbia. Congratulations to Rugby Nova Scotia for winning the award this year and to Geno Carew, pictured below with Dawn Dauphinee and Tim Powers (Rugby Canada Chairman), who was in person to receive it.
We are very pleased to announce the arrival of our newest Salesperson, Jeremy Snider! Jeremy is an excellent addition to the team at Domus Realty and will provide the same high quality service that current and potential clients of the company know and expect. Here is all you need to know:
Growing up in Halifax, Jeremy always had a keen interest in real estate. He familiarized himself with current trends in the local market and maintained an appreciation for future development and expansion on and around the Halifax Peninsula. Jeremy’s transition to real estate was facilitated through valuable experience gained while renovating and managing his own properties.
We are pleased to announce that yesterday we presented cheques totalling $18,000 to this year's selected recipients of our A Home for Everyone fund. Cheques were presented to the following organziations/projects:
Shelter Nova Scotia - to assist with painting to finish a renovation at their Metro Turning Point Shelter. Linda Wilson was here to accept on their behalf.
Integrity, dedication, professionalism, experience and understanding – these are the 5 pillars of the Domus approach to business. Since its inception in 1989, founders Sandy Rutledge and Gail Morris have instilled those values in every agent or staff member to become part of the Domus team.
On Saturday, September 24, 2016, the women of Domus Realty participated in Habitat for Humanity Nova Scotia's Women Build 2016. As we are strong supporters of the fight to end homelessness, this event was very inspirational for us. In addition to fundraising, this day involved learning more about Habitat for Humanity's work in the community, and it enabled us to meet one of the families we were helping. It was a great team-building exercise and we would encourage other groups to get out and help as well. Truly a great experience.
It has been a busy fall for us here at Domus Realty!
